DSP. C. 1930's Packard Approved Service double-sided porcelain 60" sign with iconic Packard lettering. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and shine with significant surface scratching and surface staining throughout the face of the piece. Sign shows more significant deeper scratches in the "Packard" lettering, as well as porcelain loss throughout both the inner and outer fields. The outer edge of the piece exhibits areas of porcelain loss, most notably at the top edge (7.9). Side 2, has great color and gloss with only very minor surface staining and scratching. Sign has multiple porcelain chips both in the inner and outer fields, but the damage is far less distracting on this side than on Side 1. The outer edges of the sign has multiple flea-bite chips and more significant porcelain loss, most notably at the top of the piece (8.0). Overall, a very nice displaying sign from the iconic car maker.
