SSP. An outstanding example of this large and beautiful sign from Union Pacific Railways. Sign was originally displayed at the Union Pacific Transfer Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This piece is in fantastic condition for its size, showing outstanding color & gloss, with only five very small chips in the fields of all the pieces combined. Each piece does show some very minor chipping along the outer self framed edges of each panel, and when assembled most are these areas are unnoticeable. The only notable area of chipping on the edge is at the top panel above the O of Union, where there is some minor porcelain loss. Overall an incredible example of this seldom seen sign in this size, and a great piece of Union Pacific History.
