Lot consists of 2 identical bronze signal cannons on naval style carriages. Both cannons measure 14 - 1/2" in length and are approximately 2 -1/2" in diameter. Both bores measure 1" in diameter. Cannon (A) does not allow light to flow freely through the touch hole, and upon further inspection has debris in the breech, however, touch hole is drilled all the way through and should function properly. Cannon (B) allows light to flow freely through the touch hole. Both carriages move easily. Cannon (A) has a lock bar to allow the cannon to sit securely in the mounts, however (B) does not. CONDITION: Very Good.
