Midnight blue, green and pink glazes with applied gold gilt. Top reticulated with carved flying bats. A rare example. Amphora oval mark, impressed "8761" and "62". Similar examples are illustrated in "Monsters and Maidens: Collector's Edition", Vreeland, p. 361 and "The House of Amphora", Scott, p. 127.
