SSP. Maker Marked "B.S. Co. 52 State Street. Chicago." This c. 1910s single-sided porcelain corner sign from Garland Stoves and Ranges features the company tagline "The World's Best." CONDITION: The field of this sign shows scattered specks to the color, seen in the cobalt blue sections of the field. The white background has scattered imperfections as well. These areas are not chips, but instead small discolored specks. There is one diagonal scratch mark extending through the letter "R" in "Ranges." The outer edges show porcelain loss and chipping. This sign retains its hardware for hanging the sign on the corner of store shelving or a building.
