DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Wolverine Porcelain, Detroit. A very nice example of this iconic porcelain service station sign from Powerlube Motor Oils showing a large tiger graphic. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color and gloss throughout with a super clean graphic showing minor areas of light cloudiness in the blue as well as some scattered surface scratching in the field. Side one shows minor wear along the outer edge but should clean up some if desired, Grade 8.5+. Side two also shows a very good color and gloss throughout the field showing some minor areas of discoloration in the blue as well as areas of surface staining at the right side. Side two shows some light where along the outer edge but overall superior than most offered examples, Grade 7.75+. Overall an excellent example of this iconic piece from powerlube.
