C. 1890. Pratt & Letchworth Co., Buffalo, New York. Four-Horse, Four-Seat Brake featuring an open coach painted overall in black with yellow trim. The four-horse team consists of two cream and two caramel-colored horses. The carriage seats eight cast-iron figures, including a driver with a cast-in lap blanket. Overall good antique condition with substantial age-appropriate wear. The painted surfaces show scattered chipping, rubbing, scratches, and areas of paint loss throughout, particularly on the wheels, horses, figures, and exposed edges of the coach. There is some oxidation and surface rust visible on the underside, axles, and metal hardware. The black-and-yellow painted areas show uneven wear, and some may have old touch-ups or repainting. Overall, stunning condition and a rare collector's item.
