16" doll with bisque socket head incised "J. Steiner A-9" with closed mouth, blue-gray paperweight eyes, well-painted lashed and multi-stroke brows, pierced earlobes, on the original fully jointed Steiner composition body with straight wrists and long fingers. On the torso is the paper label with the Steiner logo of the girl carrying the French flag. Clothing is antique peach silk with lace overlay, antique undergarments, nice brown leather Keystone shoes and blond mohair wig over cardboard pate (not Steiner). She has some wig pulls that do not show when wig is in place. Some typical age wear to body with some wear and paint loss especially on lower arms and fingers, with one finger broken and reglued.
