PRE-WAR LIONEL O-GA. SPECIAL PASSENGER SET & NO. 294 PASSENGER SET W/ ORIGINAL BOXES
(A) Special Set consists of peacock blue No. 252 Electric Locomotive with three peacock blue passenger cars with orange window inserts: two No. 607 Pullman Cars and a No. 608 Observation Car. The passenger cars are marked "Illinois Central" above the windows. The set is in all original very good to excellent condition with some minor nicks and scratches. The locomotive does need to be re-wheeled and the motor does not turn freely. The original boxes are a bit tattered and most are missing the end flaps. The set box is in good condition, with some wear and one corner split. (B) No. 294 Passenger Set, which includes an olive green No. 252 Electric Locomotive with three olive passenger cars with maroon window inserts, two No. 529 Pullman Cars and a No. 530 Observation Car. The engine and the three cars are in original very good condition. Set box is a bit tattered, individual boxes are missing most of their end flaps.
