Red painted leather four-comb fire helmet circa 1880's from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. With a pressed brass high eagle and applied cut leather shield with sewn details. Dated 1773 on brim. Missing the applied "RAINBOW" and "RFD" letters. 14" long, 9 - 1/2" high.
Condition: (Good).
