Extremely rare 1916 Winchester salesman's catalog made for use by the company's salesforce. This particular book was found in the estate of Winchester salesman Arthur J. Petrie and his company I.D. badge accompanies the lot. Salesman catalog with black faux leather cover with gold embossing. Sections inside are tabbed for each model available and there are note taking pages which are filled with interesting notes from Mr. Petrie during his travels. Book is roughly 300 or so pages and measures 9" x 5 - 3/4". ID badge shows a later in life photo of Mr. Petrie with his employee number of 20232. It is yellow in color and has a leather and clear plastic holder. CONDITION: Very good. Spine and pages are brittle, faux leather with scuffs and abrasion, but overall very good for its age and use. Badge is excellent. This lot is worthy of a hard look by any Winchester enthusiast who wants to know what a day in the life of a Winchester salesman looked like! A really cool time capsule! JSL
