Saying this sign is rare doesn't even come close to placing its scarcity and importance in the right frame of light. Embossed tin Monarch Saddle sign from the Meyer Bannerman & Co., of St. Louis, Missouri, showing over six colors, amazing images of six of their saddles, Lion emblem in the middle and Monarch guarantee labels in the upper-left and right corners. Made by the Tuscarora Advertising Co. of Coshocton, Ohio, which dates this sign to the 19th century, as the Tuscarora sign company merged with the Meek and Beach Sign Company in 1901. Simply an amazing survivor in amazing condition for its age. Close inspection shows some light rubs to several of the embossed letters, some age dirt, primarily to the left edge, framed in a period oak frame with no indication of trimming. An early, beautiful embossed tin sign that will appeal to many collectors across many collecting disciplines.

Condition: (8.5 - 8.7).

Item Dimensions: Frame: 22 - 3/4" x 28 - 1/2".
