RARE BOXED MOONLIGHT DECOY IN BLACK SPOTTED

Moonlight made these 5 ¼” decoys for only a couple years in the late 1920s before rolling over to Paw Paw. There were only 3 catalogued colors for the decoy, and this wild-looking pattern consisting of white, silver, black, and red spots over black with a pinkish-aluminum belly is certainly not one of them. It has a bit of wear to the body and some chipping to the fins & around the 3 belly weights and grades Good Plus. Painted tack eyes look good. The decoy comes with an unmarked Moonlight moonrise box in Excellent Minus condition. 5" Lure
