AGS CERTIFIED #11220. SSP. Maker Marked "The W.F. Vilas Co." A nice example of this highly desirable C. 1920's porcelain sign from Goodrich tires featuring the large "Mountie" graphic in the center. CONDITION: The field of the sign retains good color and shine with some scattered surface scratching and wear throughout the field of the graphic. There are many surface scratches throughout. There are three notable areas of porcelain loss in the field-- in Mountie's hand, in the word "Safety," and in the top center in the white background. All other mentionable porcelain loss is confined to the outer edges and mounting holes. In total, this is a well-displaying and desirable sign from Goodrich that is seldom seen in any condition (SCORE 81).
