AGS CERTIFIED #10608. DSP. Sign is ink stamped "2-35". An exceptional and well displaying example of this rare Sign from Texaco Aviation Products showing iconic Texaco Star graphic. CONDITION: Side one is overall very good showing excellent color & gloss with minimal surface scratch in the inner field as well as four areas of chipping at the outer field at the right. Side one shows areas of chipping at the edge but overall displays excellent, (Score 85). Side two also displays excellent color & gloss with areas of scattered surface scratch as well as areas of heavier chipping in the outer field. Side two shows chipping at the outer edge but overall displays nicely, (Score 82). Sign is mounted in a well made ornate iron ring and bracket showing wing & propeller with wall mount. An exceptionally well displaying example of this rare sign from Texaco.
