AGS CERTIFIED #10013. DSP. An exceptionally rare and significantly early Porcelain Service Station Sign from Wolf's Head Oils showing unique colors as well as "A Revelation In Lubrication" slogan. Sign shows an excellent Wolf's Head graphic with excellent shelving between colors. CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing an outstanding condition field with excellent condition script & graphic. Side one shows some minimal areas of light surface scratch in the outer field as well as some moderate chipping at the mounting holes along the outer edge. Overall side one displays very well, (Score 90). Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field with excellent condition script showing no chipping in the inner or outer fields. Side two shows some light areas of surface scratching in the outer field as well as some heavier chipping at the mounting holes. The outer edges show some minimal nicks but overall side two displays excellent, (Score 88). A bright and glossy example of this tough to find piece from Wolf's Head.
