AGS CERTIFIED #10009. DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Tennessee Enamel & Dated 1931. An exceptionally clean and well displaying example of this Porcelain Service Station Sign from Shell Motor Oils showing excellent Shell colors with Clamshell Shape. CONDITION: Side one is overall brilliant with phenomenal color & gloss showing no notable wear in the inner or outer field. Side one shows excellent shelving between colors with only light wear at the mounting holes and outer edge, (Score 96). Side two also shows phenomenal color & gloss with light areas of very minimal surface scratch as well as some light black marks in the outer field. Side two shows only a faint amount of mounting hole wear with very light edge wear, (Score 95). One of the finest examples of this sign we have very sold.
