This bronze statue of former President Woodrow Wilson was created to commemorate the San Francisco / Sacramento World's Fair that was just prior to World War I. Wilson, who was at the time very much against our country's involvement in the war, is pictured with pen and parchment over a sword, which symbolized his views of the world, and also showed him portraying Uncle Sam. CONDITION: The bronze has no areas of breaks, cracks or repairs, with no discernible damage to be reported. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard.
