23". An early example with oily bisque, square cut teeth (tiny chip on one tooth), very large dark brown glass sleep eyes affixed upon an early style composition and wood body with original finish. Rear of head is marked "S 14 H" and underneath "939". As is typical with these early examples this child has pronounced molding with quite possibly her original sandy blonde human hair wig with long ringlets. She is dressed in an appropriately styled outfit with some age but not original. Antique silk shoes have been altered (reduced in size) to fit. A truly great example! Bisque head appears to be free of hairlines, eye chips, or other damage but a small sliver of bisque is missing at top front of crown (totally hidden and not a distraction).
