Circa late 17th-early 18th century example of Spanish rapier with a clamshell cup guard and slotted horn panels in the iron grip. Nicely chiseled vine and leaf patterns on the guard. Straight quillons with turned finials, and a bulbous pommel. Solingen markings on inside fuller near ricasso. Sword retains a beautiful uniform patina throughout.
