DSP. Sign shows an A-698 Makers Code. An outstanding example of this highly sought after Service Station Restrooms Sign from Sunoco Gasoline & Motor Oils. CONDITION: Side one is in excellent condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with no chipping and only a minimal amount of surface scratching. The outer edge shows some very light chipping as well as some minimal wear at the mounting holes but overall excellent, Grade 9.0. Side two is also in excellent condition showing excellent color & gloss throughout but side two shows a few minor ares of surface scratching as well as some minor areas of spotting in the white porcelain. The outer edge shows a couple light chips as well as some minimal wear at the mounting holes but overall excellent, Grade 8.9+. Sign is mounted on the original metal hanging bracket which is also in excellent condition and displays the piece well. An excellent example of this beautiful sign from Sunoco.
