Percussion, late Kentucky style, 33 1/2" octagonal barrel with no forestock wood, only a tin 7" soldered seating tube for ramrod. Walnut stock with iron "toilet-seat" patch box (cap box) with a replaced piece of wood at top of upper wrist. Stock has original finish and the metal "engraved" breech and barrel are in dark brown-black oxidation.
