DSP. An excellent example of this iconic piece of Porcelain Signage from Texaco Gasoline & Motor Oil. Side one is in excellent condition, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only one small nick in the outer right bottom field as well as some minimal edge wear. Overall side one displays outstanding. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field in the red with some minor areas of discoloration in the Texaco lettering and white background. Sign shows one minor chip in the upper field as well as some minor areas of chipping along the outer edge at the mounting holes. Overall side two is also in excellent condition. Included with the Sign is a Shepherd's Pole that is painted black and displays the sign very well. Overall an outstanding displaying piece of early Texaco advertising.
