C. 1931. The Mills Novelty Co. Chicago IL. This is an excellent example of this Mills trade stimulator with gumball vender and gambling feature. The operator of the machine would pick a 3-digit number daily and rotate the numbers on top to show the match. The idea when the customer played was to get the same 3 digits on the spinning wheels, and the patron would get huge prizes, which were most likely cash. CONDITION: This is an all original example, including reel strips, award card, paint and back doors. Plays perfectly, 1 gumball for every penny.
