This C. early 1900s to 1910s cardboard lithograph sign from the Royal Brewing Company - Kansas City, MO features a wonderful graphic of well-clad woman. Artist marked "Leon Moran" in the bottom left corner. From Painting Copyrighted by Kaufmann & Strauss Co. N.Y. Printed in Germany. A rare and difficult Victorian women scene to find. The is found on trays occasionally, but not on full sized signs. The sign also retains its original frame marked "Celebrated Royal Pilsener." CONDITION: The field shows a few discolored moisture spots. There are also a handful of small specks of color loss. The outer edges show additional wear, and the extreme outer edges are concealed by the frame. The frame shows minor paint loss but remains nice.
