Single-Sided Tin Over Cardboard. Maker marked "The American Art Works. Coshocton, Ohio." This c. 1910s single-sided tin over cardboard sign from Union Mill promoting their Clear Quill Flour features a wonderful sliced bread loaf graphic. CONDITION: The field of this sign shows light scratches and small specks of discoloration. The outer raised border of the sign shows heavier discoloration and surface oxidation- the worst of which is on the left edge. The backside retains its original cardboard with manufacturer stamp in the center. Very rare, with only four known.
