Unusual tortoise shell knob sword cane, The tortoise knob has a gold horseshoe inlay. The tortoise knob has a gold horseshoe inlay. The blade, which is 13" long, is quite spectacular and unusual. It has a squared and twisted configuration and is engraved, blued and gilted. The blade inserts into a shaft of stepped malacca. The handle is 3/4" high by 1 - 1/4" across the top with a 1/8" brass collar. There is a 1" metal ferrule. The overall length is 34 - 3/4". The condition is very good.
