Manufactured from 1836 to 1844 by Asa Waters of Millbury, Mass. Features include .54 caliber smooth bore with 8-/2" round barrel, swivel type ramrod, and original flintlock ignition system. All metal surfaces are clean and in the white. Brass flash pan. Lock is dated 1843. Barrel is stamped with the inspector marks "J.M.". The metal is polished to give a nickeled appearance. Wood is very good with 1/2" crack on left side. Excellent clean bore. Perfect working order.
