Standard issue U.S. Marshall pistol with 8-1/2" barrel, .54 caliber, has brass barrel band, straps, butt and trigger guard with iron furniture. It has the swivel style rod, lock is stamped U.S. I.N. Johnson, is dated 1855 Midd. tn Conn. Left side of barrel is stamped U.S. J.C.P. Fine brass, excellent to near mint walnut stocks with no cracks, the iron is basically a dark brown patina with some roughness around nipple. Excellent to near mint original walnut stocks, no visible cartouche.
