An amazing early late 19th century tin advertising sign in its original wood frame, advertising Coleman's Ko-Ko Tulu chewing gum. The sign originally was in yellow paint with green background and green lettering. There is a small area of paint rub and oxidation to the extreme left-hand side of the Coleman's logo, as well as a paint rub to the field above and below the W in "chewing gum". Aside from that, the sign shows a crackle-paint finish on all of the green background and green letters, most likely foxing and hazing from its age. All of the paint is stable at this point, and this is an amazingly early chewing gum sign.
