DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Veribrite Signs, Chicago. A very rare C. 1950's Porcelain Sign from Husky Gasoline showing unique red, white & blue backing colors with large Husky script and Husky Dog graphic. A very obscure piece with not many known examples. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing excellent lettering and graphic. Side one shows a heavy amount of light chipping scattered throughout the inner field with some minimal areas of chipping in the outer field. Side one shows light nicks and chipping along the outer edge but overall displays well, Grade 7.75. Side two also shows excellent color with some areas of streaking in the gloss of the blue. Side two also shows a heavy amount of light chipping in the field as well as some minor chips in the outer field. Side two shows minimal edge wear with chipping at the left edge, Grade 7.75. Although the piece shows some wear it is extremely uncommon and is most likely one of the best examples known with great display power.
