Attractive 24" (61 cm) closed mouth Jumeau Bebe with blue-grey paperweight eyes, well painted lashes and multi-stroke arched eyebrows, delicately painted lips allowing the illusion of a space in-between, pierced earlobes, marked with a red stamp on the back of the head reading "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGD.G11." She is on the original fully articulated French wooden composition body, obviously Jumeau, but whatever blue stamp that may have been on the back of the torso is very faded. Clothing consists of well remade two-piece dress made of salmon pink satin with grey and lace trim, well-coordinated hat made of similar material, which covers a 1960's era honey-blonde human hair wig with bangs and long curls covering a remade cork pate. Underwear is antique as are mid-socks. Shoes are antique leather with leather soles, stamped on the bottom "11 Depose" and bearing the logo of a hot air balloon, often used as a symbol with Jumeau in Paris Bebe dolls.
