This c. 1909 heavy paper extremely rare lithograph sign from The Windisch-Muhlhauser Brewing Co - Cincinnati, Ohio - for Lion Beers features a beautiful graphic of a woman with a floral motif titled "Kitty" by artist Bernhard Zickendraht marked on the back of the lithograph which many Breweriana collectors never knew. The write up gives a perfect description of the painting. Manufactured by Wolf & Co Philadelphia, PA. Artist name Zickendraht 1909 marked on the front lower left corner. The surface of the sign has a canvas textured finish, but the sign is in fact heavy paper. Sign will display extremely well framed and matted. CONDITION: The field remains clean with some darkening to the field. The outer edges show areas of paper loss and general wear. The worst of the paper loss is seen near the corners of the sign.
