Typical of the various Adams patent revolvers offered by numerous British dealers during the mid-nineteenth century. It features an octagon barrel in .46 bore, five shot, double action, blue finish with checkered walnut grips. The top of the frame is stamped "Manufd by A & Cie Licensed" . This model features the spur-less exposed hammer. The frame features scroll engraving. Comes with detachable side loading tool. CONDITION: All metal surfaces are a smooth pleasing soft patina with sharp legends. Cylinder indexes once lined up correctly. Bore is strong. Grips are fairly worn with minor chips. These guns were well represented in the South during the Civil War.
