Vestiges of Charleville markings on lockplate and spurious "US" surcharge. Furniture of standard 1763/66 pattern. CONDITION: All iron components retain a dark pitted patina, lock professionally reconverted. Stock shows great age and wear with chips on forend and undersides at buttplate. Bore shows rust and pitting consistent with use and age; ramrod is replaced.
