Unsighted barrel marked at the breech with added British style proofs. The flat resurfaced lock plate is stamped "TOWER" at the center with a crown at the tail. Lock has been arsenal converted from flint to percussion. Cleaned walnut stock with musket style iron barrel band, brass sideplate, and brass pommel cap stamped with "262 / E6 / U9" unit marking. CONDITION: Very good as modified. Metal has been cleaned with some patina forming. Stock has also been refinished with a few impressions remaining. PROVENANCE: Ex. Castlerock Museum.
