Good antique Marlin Model 1894. CONDITION: Frame retains faint traces of original case hardening, as the the lever. Hammer is mostly brown patina. Octagonal barrel with smooth brown patina retains faint traces of original bluing. Front sight retains original bluing, as does front magazine tube. Magazine tube is mostly smooth grey metal. Buttplate is smooth brown metal. Forend cap is mostly smooth grey metal. Action is excellent, bore is good with strong rifling. Forend wood is full dimensions with some figure but no finish. Buttstock is full dimensions with some light varnish remaining. A good antique Marlin for wither the collector or shooter.
