This is a late model manufactured 1878 to 1892. This is a top break, five shot, single action, spur trigger with case colored hammer and Smith & Wesson logo black composite bird’s head grips. Revolver shows no signs of having been fired, no burn on cylinder. Perfect legends on barrel. Nitre blue finish on latch. Grips are mint. Light cylinder. Fine action and bore. Just light storage wear. 98% original nickel. This fine revolver comes in an original pasteboard box with original Smith & Wesson oiler as seen on page 76 in The Smith & Wesson Standard Catalog. Maroon box with instructions inside lid but no end label.
