Unsigned octagonal barrel and classic Bedford County, Pennsylvania lock signed in script in center with large "J.A." Plain brass furniture and figured maple stock with Bedford form. Features double set triggers. CONDITION: Fair, barrel and lock retain a dark patina with some scattered marks and some pitting at breech. Lock does not hold in cocked positions. Brass retains a mellow patina. Stock has been broken and repaired at toe and behind wrist, otherwise good with some wear and scattered marks from use. Small area at toe is absent. A nice rifle with classic Bedford County lines.
