This revolver is almost an exact copy of the Smith & Wesson Model 1 manufactured 1857 to 1860. Features a ribbed octagon barrel, seven shot, single action, spur trigger, tip-up with two piece ivory grips. The gun retains approximately 80% of the original factory nickel finish with balance turned patina. Entire revolver is beautifully engraved in the New York style. Ivory grips are excellent. Indexes perfectly. Very good bore with usual abrasion. It is housed in a partitioned oak case lined in red velvet. Handsome, early, engraved pocket revolver.
