Nickel finished with 3" superimposed barrel cluster. Mounted with vibrant two piece mother of pearl grips with brass escutcheons. Chambered for the .41 rimfire cartridge. Engraved in the typical Remington style of wide scrolls with modest dot punch back ground. Serial numbered under the left grip and upon the bottom of the lower barrel. Housed in a possible period case with burgundy wool lining and complete with a box of Remington Green Label .41 rimfire ammunition that is plastic wrapped for preservation. CONDITION: Very good with over 60% factory applied nickel finish remaining. The address and markings are very clear and legible with the two line Remington address on top rib with the last patent date of 1865. Bores have a little roughness but have sharp rifling. Grips are very good. The hinge is solid with no evidence of ever having been cracked, modified or repaired. This is a nice honest factory engraved pistol.
