(A) CASED HENRY DERINGER PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOL.

Often referred to as the gun that killed Lincoln. The engraved trigger guard design dates this gun from 1835 through 1848. The "DERINGER PHILADEL" legends are stamped on the action and barrel breech. Engraved German silver key escutcheons, trigger guard, shield escutcheon on wrist, side plate, and decorative pommel inlay. Grip is hand checkered. Left side of barrel stamped with proof "P". Gun is housed in a walnut case with a Hawksley bag flask and cap tin. CONDITION: Very good. All of the iron hardware is now a soft grey patina including the barrel, engraved hammer and lock. Stock is excellent. Mechanically sound with a strong, lightly frosted bore. Case is fine.
