(A) COLT LIGHTNING MEDIUM FRAME .38 WCF SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.
Dates to 1890. Standard rifle features the blue finish, round barrel, full length magazine, dovetailed front sight, rear sight filled, tang sight, and walnut stock with rifle buttplate and two piece forearm with border lines. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Frame and barrel still retains some flashes of blue but are basically a smooth patina. Barrel legends are all still strong and left side pony still visible. There is a replacement magazine retainer. Stocks are fine, a bit shy, exhibiting some nominal dings. Forearm is solid. Mechanically sound with a well defined bore that shows some abrasions.
