MFG. 1864. All matching numbers but the wedge and screw are replacements. The roll die stage coach scene is 90% visible. The octagon barrel has a strong Colt New York barrel address. Colt's patent stamped on left side of frame with 31 CAL on trigger guard. Standard features include brass straps, one-piece walnut grips, six-shot, single action. CONDITION. Good. No original finish, metal is now a freckled gray with dark brass. The grips have four kill marks on left side and three on the right. The action indexes correctly. The bore is well defined with minor abrasion.
