(A) COLT MODEL 1877 THUNDERER DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER

Manufactured in 1887. Colt's first double action. Half moon front sight and a V notch rear sight. Six shot fluted cylinder. Birds head grip with two piece checkered hard rubber grips. The action works in both single and double action. Nickel plated. The trigger and the back of the hammer are niter blue. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The last three numbers are on the face of the cylinder. CONDITION: This gun retains vast amounts of the Nickel finish. Fair bore with well defined lands and grooves. The grips show wear.
