(A) COLT THUNDERER SHERIFF'S MODEL .41 COLT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH PINK BOX.
Produced in 1891. This scarce Thunderer Sheriffs' Model revolver features a 3 - 1/2" barrel with two line address and etched panel caliber marking. The three line patent dates appear on the frame. Nickel finish. The grips are two piece checkered gutta percha with Rampant Colt logo. CONDITION: The screws, hammer, and trigger are finished with restored nitre blue. The bore has strong lands with scattered freckling in the grooves. The gun is complete with a high condition, pink label box that is Kitteridge of Cincinnati, Ohio marked. The pencil serial number on the bottom of the box is illegible. The nickel finish shows signs of flaking at the muzzle and front of the cylinder edges. The label, corners and hinge of the box are intact.
