Manufactured in 1863. Three screw variation cut for shoulder stock with US martial inspections on grips. Matching numbers including wedge. Full Ormsby cylinder scene with sharp legible markings. Hosed in a contemporary velvet lined case with modern flask, mold, nipple wrench and cap tin. CONDITION: Very good with all matching numbers and strong markings. Bore is very good and action functions properly. Grips are full sized and have had a coating of varnish added for preservation. All screws are original with exception of three trigger guard screws. Brass has attained a very mellow mustard patina. All cylinder locking pins are crushed but are present. Case and accessories are contemporary and are as new.
