Produced and sold by Colt Manufacturing in 1971. Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver with 7-1/2" octagon barrel, .36 caliber, with six shot cylinder, one piece walnut grips and silver finished trigger guard and backstrap. Ormsby Naval cylinder scene engraving and factory roll marked "ROBERT E. LEE -NINETEEN SEVENTY ONE". Cased in factory velvet lined case with mechanical flask, mold and cap tin. Lid of case marked"ROBERT E. LEE COMMEMORATIVE NINETEEN SEVENTY ONE". Lining is southern grey in color. CONDITION: Very fine with no use evident. Gun is as new. All accessories are fine. Lead balls have attained a white corrosion with time and present themselves well. Case is very fine.
