Philadelphia, Henry Derringer Peanut pattern pistol with .45 caliber barrel measuring 2 - 1/4". Checkered Walnut grip with Nickel silver engraved shield, trigger guard, and furniture. Pistol measures 5" overall. Makers markings are clear and legible. CONDITION: Very good overall with barrel and lock having toned to a pleasant patina. The walnut stock is very good with modest wear with no cracks but a very minor amount of material loss around lock and rear barrel tang. An iconic pistol made famous for its use at Fords Theatre during the Lincoln assassination. TDW
