Manufactured 1870. This standard Model 1860 six shot, single action percussion revolver appears to have been upgraded long ago. The frame, hammer, backstrap, trigger guard and barrel were scroll engraved, nickel plated and fitted with ivory grips that have now yellowed with age. The cylinder is No. 369 while the frame, barrel, trigger guard and backstrap are No. 319. Cylinder pin is not numbered. Most of the Naval battle scene is gone. The letters "IE" are stamped under the serial number on frame and trigger guard. Grips have shrunk a bit but are excellent. Retains approximately 95% of the nickel finish. Strong, rifled bore. Fine action. Very handsome, old, engraved and plated 1860 Army.
